| NEPTUNE FROM PASSING KUIPER BELT OBJECTS |
![]() |
Neptune orbits in the cold and lonely reaches of the solar system as two icy asteroids pass by, perturbed by the planets gravity, altering their paths, they will be swung into new orbits, that may take them into the inner solar system. Out here at the edge of the solar system, things move slowly. Some may also have been ejected from other solar systems, via the same processes that operate in our own. The icy bodies in the painting here, are still in a frozen state and have not been warmed by the Sun, when they are , the materials will vaporize to form the characteristic coma and tail, which surrounds the inner nucleus. Neptune & Triton are also seen here. PAINTING DIMENSIONS: 30 x 40 cm,
