| ICE PLANET WITH TWO MOONS |
![]() |
The painting here depicts a heavily glaciated world, with 2 rather large moons. A slight greenish colour seen beyond the structure, indicates basic plant growth. There has been some attempt at colonization here, either by people from Earth or beings from somewhere else, with its remains seen in the distance. This planet either lies at the edge of the life zone, in which a planet could be habitable or in a very eccentric orbit, that may take it far from its Sun and then back in again. [( perhaps in too close, so that the surface would burn under the summer Sun, how could any life forms adapt to conditions like this ? ), how fortunate is Earth to have such a secure orbit! ] In reality the satellites seen here are much to close to each other, or perhaps they are about to collide, with the remains spreading out to form a ring about the planet. Or they could just merge, glowing hot for a while. This new moon could then come under the pull of the planet, with the two merging into one large mass. A most unpleasant scenario for anyone living here. Painting dimensions : 50x40.05cm, 20x16 ins Price : $450 |
