Green Sky & lifeforms

An enormous moon looms in a green sky, while sack like life forms drift on the breeze.  Green sand leads to an endless green sea.   What is the  origin of the geometric markings here ?  Is it a sign of intelligence,  or a natural phenomenon ? Are the balloon like things alive or are they  some kind of seed pod perhaps?
The colour of the sky is probably a by product of the airborne bacteria, a kind of floating phytoplankton. Maybe as on other planets; after the rain washes it out, whole patches of sky could appear blue or perhaps various shades of green. This image is also homage to a painting by Dave Hardy, that appeared in the 1972 book "Challange of the Stars" also by Mr Hardy and Sir Patrick Moore.
